My mantra this holiday season is to slow down; to take time on all things holiday related and be intentional with how we spend that time.
Yesterday our first big blizzard rolled in across the Midwest, cancelling a family birthday and a movie date, and now church this morning and the possibility of postponing getting our family Christmas tree from the local tree farm.
Our kids have mostly taken it in stride, spending the entire day in their pajamas and now on their third trip outside to play in the snow while the thermometer reads 15 degrees.
And speaking of pajamas, I made a post in October about Christmas pajamas launching because, according to my SIL who’s the Queen of Christmas Pajamas, this is when she suggests purchasing.
