When I got the email about needing some help with a dining room wall, I cracked up when she said, “I have a Bless sign up now that probably everyone else has in their home and I’m ready for something different.” I get it! I’ve been there, too. #livelaughlove

With this dining room, I suggested adding wainscoting or moulding to give the wall an accent that was budget-friendly. Pinterest has so many tutorials on adding moulding to a wall and it makes such an impact. You can even buy kits on Etsy! Adding some new art and some sconces on each side would really make this dining room look great.

Next, this console table needed some decor. She loved the farmhouse look and already had some cute items hung on her wall. Kirkland’s is always one of the first places I check for farmhouse decor.

Adding baskets to the bottom shelf would be a great use for storing shoes if this is near an entry, or blankets, games, etc. I then noticed an outlet behind the console, so adding a lamp to the top shelf would be awesome for accent lighting. I then filled in the rest, adding layers and greenery!

She also had a console under her tv she was looking for some help with, and I first suggested a cord hider for her tv cords since that’s what your eye is drawn to. The one I found on Amazon had great reviews, didn’t require holes in the wall, and could be painted to match your walls.
If the cord keeper wasn’t an option, I suggested a large vase with greenery or florals to hide the cords. The only other thing I suggested for this table was a tray to group the items on either side.

Lastly, this living room contains a large wall and this follower was looking for suggestions on what to do. She had mapped out some art ledges with blue painter’s tape and was wondering about adding white frames with family photos to the ledges.
This reminded me exactly of our own family room, where I did the same thing!

My brother-in-law was able to make these for me, and they’re such a great way to display family photos and occupy a large space.
Finally, she asked for a round-up of some pillow combinations, so here are a few I gathered from Target!

I’ve really been enjoying this series each week. Feel free to email me if you have a space in your home where you’d like some suggestions! Even if it’s not exactly what you had in mind, I often find it’s at least a nudge to get the ball rolling!

Nice selections! Not a renovation, but a refreshment!
Definitely!
