Gloria’s moving upstairs to a big girl room (hence the name of this post!), which is insane to say since it seems like just last week I was putting together her nursery.
Her parents already had her furniture and bedding picked out, so I was called to help put together the finishing touches. Here’s the original mood board:
For the most part, the room came together quite easily. One hang-up was waiting on the ceramic balloons pictured above, and while the yellow one made it, the other two were cancelled on us. After that dilemma was figured out, it was time to put it all together. I hope she loves it!
We opted for this art instead of the ABCs because we thought it would grow better with her. The felt art and pillow are from West Elm. I loved the colors and how well it matched the lockers already in her room.
Above the lockers hangs this mirror. I love the border detail!
A favorite part of this room is the reading corner. Glo’s dad picked out the lockers and acrylic shelves seen here, and they turned out so cute.
And of course the Glo light is a favorite!
Something I’ve got to mention are these two curtains from Two Pages. They are pleated and are a really great, thick quality. I can see why I saw them all over my Instagram feed!
