A new sibling meant a new room for my niece, and the timing of the transfer happened to be around Christmas and her birthday. My niece might just be turning 10, but she’s no spring chicken, and most of the things on her Christmas and birthday list were items toward her new bedroom- smart girl!
I asked Liv what colors or themes she was thinking for her room, and she basically named every color of the rainbow plus many in between, ha! The theme? Inspirational posters. Yup, this girl wanted to be inspired while she was in her room. Oh, I love ya, Liv!

What’s kind of neat is this is the house my husband grew up in for the first few years of his life and this was his old bedroom. This room got a fresh coat of grey paint before Liv moved in, and now it was time to add some inspiration.

How fun are the string lights?! For her birthday Liv got a Polaroid camera and the lights have clips attached for the pictures she takes.
Liv had previously written that quote on the letter board, and I thought it was so sweet and fit perfect in her room.
I’m also a little obsessed with the tiny neon pink banner and lightning bolt!
Liv picked out the quote above her bed. It reads: Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.
I got to FaceTime Liv when she saw her room for the first time and her reaction was priceless. Love you, Buzzy!
