My Happy Haven Bedroom Makeover Reveal

After meeting Jennifer for the first time in her home, one thing was clear: she loves color! She has the most fun knick-knacks, portraits, and collectibles in her home that while I was working on setting up the room it was always entertaining to look up and notice something new.

There were three things I took away after our first meeting: she loves Junk Gypsies and shiplap, she wanted oatmeal colored walls, and storage solutions were important.

I scoured the Junk Gypsy website/Instagram/Pinterest page for inspiration! I thought this banner was so cute and went so well with the donkey print below. The donkey print was the first piece of decor I found and inspired the rest of the colors for the room.

My favorite story from this room? After emailing Junk Gypsy to see if they had any memorabilia available to purchase, they sent Jennifer a signed copy of their book! So stinkin’ neat.

Adding this wall jewelry case was one way I hoped to give Jennifer some more organizers, as she had her jewelry in a container on this dresser before.

She loves George Jones— how cool is this print?!

Jennifer has a large book collection, so adding this bookcase will hopefully help keep her collection together, and the baskets are great for items she may not want displayed.

Adding this sheer curtain over her laundry machines helps hide the chore just a little bit. I also added these laundry hooks to hang up the curtain and other items she may need air-dried.

This organizer fit perfectly in her closet for some extra storage.

I think this stool might be my favorite find. The bright teal color, the velvet, the gold legs, and the flippable wood top with storage underneath makes her a real star.
